In January 2016, Michelle Meador took over the PJ’s bar at 6736 Allen Road in Allen Park and renamed it The Corner Bar & Grill.

Meador said the quality of the food and great customer service will be what sets The Corner apart. Meador said The Corner will essentially be a craft burger bar with 19 beers on tap, with many Michigan beers, liquors and wines on hand. Local brews include Atwater, New Holland, Perrin, Bell’s and more, with liquor from distillery Two James and wine from Leelanau and Tabor Hill. Meador said she wants The Corner to replicate the feel of Detroit eateries but with top-notch customer service.
