Camp Pendola is a Catholic group camp northwest of Camptonville, near Youngs Hill in Tahoe National Forest. It is owned by the Catholic Diocese of Sacramento but not funded by them; instead, it is supported by user fees, donations, and volunteers. It features an activities building with air hockey, table football, and pool tables. Other recreational activities include archery, crafts, canoeing, kayaking, and hiking. It offers programs for boys and girls aged 6-18. Its elevation is 2,991 feet.

History

The land for Camp Pendola was donated to the Diocese of Sacramento in 1959 by the Pendola family. It was previously known as the Pendola Ranch. Pendola Road and Pendola Road Extension are named for Pendola Ranch.

The camp was closed in 2005 because of a chimney fire, but reopened in April 2009.
