Dobbins Creek is a tributary of the Yuba River that is about six miles long. It passes through Dobbins before flowing into the Yuba River about three miles southeast of Dobbins. It also has a west branch, which is about 2.5 miles long and flows into the main Dobbins Creek about one mile from the Yuba River.

Lake Francis is formed by a dam on Dobbins Creek.
