Erle Road is a public road that runs between Highway 70 in Linda and a dead end at the western border of Beale Air Force Base. It is named for the former town of Erle, which used to exist at what is now the intersection of Gavin Mandery Drive and South Erle Street on Beale Air Force Base. The town of Erle was named for a pioneer family, and had its own post office from 1892 to 1909.1
The Olivehurst 30-Mile Bike Loop follows Erle Road between Arboga Road and Virginia Road.
