Frisky Lake is an artificial reservoir south of the Yuba River, southwest of Smartsville, north of Beale Air Force Base, and southeast of Hammonton. It is formed by Frisky Dam on a tributary of Hutchinson Creek. At full capacity, it contains 100 acre-feet of water, but its normal water level is only about 20 acre-feet of water.

Frisky Dam was built in 1958 and is owned by the United States Air Force. It is an earthen dam used for flood control and recreational purposes.
