Sutter Buttes Day has been held annually in Sutter since 1978. It takes place on the last Saturday in May or the first Saturday in June. It is a fundraiser for the Sutter Youth Organization. The day begins with a parade on Acacia Avenue and continues with a barbecue, bands, vendors, swimming, baseball, games, theater, and a student art show.
