The Valley Quilt Show has been held annually since 1984. It takes place at the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds on the third weekend of March, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. It is organized by the Valley Quilt Guild and features more than 250 quilts. There are also quilt appraisals, quilt-related displays, workshops, lectures, a country store, more than 20 vendors, and plenty of food. Various baskets are raffled off, and judges choose the best quilt.
