The Ann Arbor Youth Chorale is a non-profit organization whose goal is to enrich the culture and lives of the community by supporting and encouraging young singers to excel in both musical performance and social activities.

Miss Ruth E. Datz, Dr. Richard Ingram, and Dr. Donald Williams - all leaders in the choral community - founded the Ann Arbor Youth Chorale in 1987. Their purpose was to offer excellent and affordable choral ensemble training and performance to as diverse a group of talented children as possible in order to foster personal and social growth.
