Traver Street Storm Sewer Project - Ann Arbor

2015-May-4 The Traver Street Storm Sewer Project appears on the May 4, 2015 agenda of the Ann Arbor City Council in the form of a $81,325 contract with Pavex Corporation. The project includes the installation of a new storm sewer beneath the Ann Arbor Railroad at the intersection of the railroad and Traver Street, according to the staff memo accompanying the resolution. The existing storm sewer outlet was previously removed from service due to an increased risk of embankment failure. The new outlet will provide adequate conveyance of stormwater flow to the bottom of the embankment and reduce the risk of embankment failure. The bid from Pavex was one of two received for the work. The other was from Fonson Company, Inc. ($140,675).
