Butte College Bookstore is a one-stop shop for most student needs. Just as major universities stock textbooks for all available classes, so too does this bookstore. They are sorted by class control numbers and instructor. Books are either new or used and a few are digital. Some texts (such as Trish Cabral's College Algebra) are written by college instructors and published by the bookstore. These are generally always new and shrink wrapped; once the wrap is removed they cannot be returned. Book buy-backs generally occur the last week of the semester during finals and also perhaps the first two weeks of the semester during the grace period for refunds. It's always nice to be handed a crisp $50 bill and a few $20s!

In addition to books, they have a full-complement of stationary, paper, lab books, lab supplies, art supplies, calculators and batteries, Butte College pride, and more. Unlike most universities, they do not have an appreciable selection of computer supplies.
