Greenways are parcels of land owned by the City of Chico intended to provide a continuous strip of undeveloped land for the enjoyment of the public. In Chico, these "linear parks" tend to be creekside greenways. Many of them are a work in progress but those that are developed are generally easily accessed. Greenways are developed and maintained by the General Services Department. Also see Parks.
