Sears, Roebuck and Company is a department store chain that was founded back in 1886 in Chicago. It is one of the anchor stores at the Chico Mall and has been a tenant since the mall opened in 1988.

In 2005, Kmart Holdings Corporation bought Sears, Roebuck and Co. The new company adopted the name Sears Holdings Corporation and has its headquarters at the old Sears, Roebuck and Co. headquarters in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

The Chico Sears store features a full service Auto Center, a portrait studio and optical center in addition to the usual clothing, appliances, electronics, tools, housewares, garden, sporting goods, and jewelry

2011-08-04 16:28:29   Sears used to have a corner dedicated to computer software including games up thru the mid 90s and then they stopped doing that.
