West by Swan is an indie band in Chico that has been a part of the local music scene since 2003. They have released a self-titled album with Antithetic Records. The band consists of the following members:

• Dave Greenfield - Guitar
• Dan Greenfield - Guitar
• Greg Hopkins - Bass
• Daniel Taylor - Drums

The band won the CN&R CAMMIES award in 2007 in the indie/experimental category. They were nominated in the same category in 2008. In addition, they won the Critics' Choice for best local CD in 2006.
