Benjamin E. Goff was a World War II veteran.   He was a son of Claude and Mae Mulligan Goff.

Benjamin E. Goff

Benjamin E. Goff, 55, of Lake Clear, died at 6 a. m. Wednesday, in Longview Nursing Home where he had been a patient the past month.

A veteran of World War II with the Army Engineers, he had been employed on construction work. Mr. Goff was born in Bloomingdale on Dec. 17, 1914, a son of Claude and Mae Mulligan Goff.

Survivors are: his widow, the former Geraldine Minnie; two sons, Claude of Bristol, Conn, and David of Bloomingdale; and two sisters, Mrs. Helen Sprague of Bloomingdale and Mrs. Norma O'Connell of Cadyville.

Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home where the Rev. Peter Hill, rector of the Church of St. Luke, the Beloved Physician, will conduct the funeral at 11 a. m. Friday. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery in Lake Clear.
