Charles Tyler Buried Tues, at Vermontville

Charles O. Tyler, 69, life long Adirondack resident, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George S. Doty at Saranac Lake.

Mr. Tyler lived much of his life in Vermontville, where he was born. He was engaged as an Adirondack guide for many years.

Mrs. Tyler died 21 years ago. Immediate relatives include seven sons and daughters: Martin Tyler of Lake Clear, Mrs. Doty and Wayne Tyler of Saranac Lake, Burton and Fred Tyler of Rome, Mrs. George Smart of Dannemora and Kenneth Tyler of Bloomingdale road.

The funeral was held Tuesday from the Doty home and from the Episcopal church at Vermontville. Burial was in the Vermontville cemetery. Rev. Sidney T. Ruck, rector of St. Eustace's church at Lake Placid officiated.
