Daisy Works
Mrs. Daisy Works, 78, died at 1:30 p. m. Saturday at Saranac Lake General Hospital. Her home was at 60 Main Street.
Mrs. Works was born Nov. 25, 1889 in Lisbon, N. Y., a daughter of James and Ida Bathina Lawrence Hand. Her husband, Imar R. Works, died in January of 1949.
A sister, Mrs. Florence May Benhower, of Lake City, Fla., survives.
Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel Partridge, pastor of the Methodist Church, will conduct the funeral service at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
