Gilbert F. Corbin was a World War I veteran and a World War II veteran.  He was a  son of Charles and Sussie Wurle Corbin.

GILBERT CORBIN RITES MONDAY

Gilbert F. Corbin, of 46 East Pine st., Saranac Lake, died yesterday morning at Sunmount Veterans Hospital where he had been a patient for the last Month.

His body is reposing at the Keough Memorial Chapel where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p m. Monday. Rev. Norman M. Moss will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery.

Mr. Corbin was born on March 23, 1902 in Greenfield, Mass., the son of Charles and Sussie Wurle Corbin. A veteran of World War II he had been a mechanic in Saranac Lake for many years.

Survivors include his widow, Jennie Mooso Corbin, a daughter, Mrs. Max King, and a granddaughter, Joyce King, all of Saranac Lake.

There will be an American Legion service at 8 p.m. tomorrow at the Keough Chapel.
