Rev. Scott Kidder was the rector of St. Luke's Church from 1915-1917. In the autumn of 1917, Rev. Elmer P. Miller received a call from Saranac Lake to fill the pulpit of St. Luke's Church, left suddenly vacant by the death, in a tragic automobile accident, of the previous incumbent, Dr. Scott Kidder. Rev. Kidder is buried in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
