La Bonne Soupe Cafe is a cafe opened in by Daniel Pont, and sold in 2011 to Chef Ed Stoddard and his fiancée, Leah Brown.
La Bonne is a very popular cafe. It is rated highly on Yelp, and is Zagat-rated. Lines are often quite long during the lunch hour.
Before Pont sold La Bonne, he was famous for preparing food and tendering cash without any assistants. This added to the charm of the French cafe, and contributed to the long lines.
