Museums

Museums are but one part of Sacramento's high cultural scene. If you want to see art that's a bit more recent, check out some of Sacramento's art galleries.

Sacramento is the home of the Crocker Art Museum, which is the oldest public art museum west of the Mississippi River. The California State Railroad Museum in Old Sacramento has historical exhibits and live steam locomotives that patrons may ride.
