Barry Swenson is the owner of Barry Swenson Builder, a real estate development company based in Santa Clara. He is the owner of a number of large, commercial properties in Downtown Santa Cruz, and he has spearheaded many controversial building projects in the area, including the unsuccessful bid to rebuild La Bahia.
