A locally owned and operated commercial bank. ATM's and night depository available at all locations. All four of the branches of Santa Cruz County Bank also happen to be great places to see local art, surprisingly enough, and the Santa Cruz Branch is a stop on the First Friday Art Tour run by the Santa Cruz Institute of Contemporary Arts. Information on the art exhibits can be found at: http://www.santacruzcountybank.com/art.cfm.

The former Front Street branch started as a Crocker Bank. Crocker Bank was bought by Wells Fargo Bank which already had a Wells Fargo Bank branch nearby. The Building was sold and became offices. Later the Building was bought by {'Commercial Pacific Bank"] for use as the downtown branch. Commercial Pacific was bought by Wells Fargo. The property was again acquired by Wells Fargo and sold again. This time to Santa Cruz County Bank.

Historically, there was an earlier County Bank of Santa Cruz, started in Santa Cruz in 1870. This eventually became County Bank and Trust, later it became Pacific Western Bank, which was bought by Comerica Bank. "County Bank" is a popular name for banks.
