In July of 2007 Tom's on Cortland lease expired and Cid, a stylist there, purchased the business from Tom. Cid's renamed the shop Barbarella and is classing the place up a bit. The rent increased, so they raised prices from the days of Tom's — $45 for men's, ??? for women's. They're also providing more salon-like services than before: hairwashing, etc.
