Clark Avenue is a street that runs north-south between Santa Barbara Way (in Yuba City near the border of Berg) and Bunce Road (in South Yuba City). From south to north, significant places on Clark Avenue include Clark Avenue Coffee Shop, Halal Market and Deli, Christie's Fine Art and Framing, Clark-Ainsley Mini-Park, and Northridge Park.

In 1891, botanist Willis Linn Jepson collected samples of smallhead field clovers,1 fleshy lupines,2 and vernal pool popcornflowers3 in the area now bounded by Forbes Avenue and Bridge Street to the north and south and by Plumas Street and Clark Avenue to the east and west, creating a valuable historic record of the native plants that grew in the area. These plants are rarely seen in Yuba City today.
