Due to the pandemic, the festival was cancelled last year. This year, the festival is scheduled to run from:

  • 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, June 11th

  • 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 12th

  • 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 13th

The festival is a family-friendly event. In addition to booths from over 100 local restaurants, there are four stages where various artists, musicians and even festival-goers perform.

Admission to Taste of Charlotte is free. However, visitors can purchase festival coins to use for restaurant samples, beverages, treats and kid’s activities. Attendees can purchase coins at different booths throughout the festival or pre-purchase them online before arriving.

While attendees are encouraged to purchase festival coins, there are a number of opportunities to enter giveaways and earn free food, merchandise and coupons.

Food Lion has been the festival’s main sponsor for the last four years. Taste of Charlotte is also sponsored by a number of partners outside of the Charlotte area including the Carolina Hurricanes, Corona Light and others
