On Saturday, April 4, 2015, The Bridge Church hosted an Easter egg hunt at Norman Smith Elementary School. Norman Smith Elementary School is located at 740 Greenwood Avenue in Clarksville, Tenn. The Easter egg hunt occurred from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., and was open to students at Norman Smith Elementary, Caldwell Head Start students, the Greenwood community, and other members of the public. An estimated 300 people were in attendance of this event, making it a huge success for the area.

The Easter egg hunt portion was broken into different times based on age groups of the children. Adults hid eggs in the field area at the school for the children to find. The Bridge Church also offered face painting and a fun zone with many different activities for the children. A free lunch for all of the guests that attended the event was also offered throughout the afternoon. The lunch included hot dogs, bags of chips, and water bottles. All of the food was donated by attendees of The Bridge Church.

The Bridge Church meets on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. at 804 Riverside Drive. For more information, please go to bridgeclarksville.blogspot.com or email [email protected]
