In the State of Montana there are around 38 brewing establishments, but in Missoula MT. there are about 12 brewers.  One of them is known as the Kettle House.  The Kettle House started out in the owners kitchen where he began brewing in Boulder, CO.  The owner Tim O'Leary and Suzy Rizza got the idea of making their own craft beer after visiting a variety of other brewers in the Boulder, CO. area.   After sometime they decided to move back to there home, Montana and try their hand at building a buisness with beet and reusable packaging as its founding principles, this started in 1995.  Over time they have made various changes and have grown.  They now have two seperate small brewing facilities and tap rooms in Missoula.

They have received a variety of awards over the years for different beers.  Some of the awards that they have earned is the NABA, GABF and World Beer Cup.

Their mission is to match the quality of their beer to the quality of the Montana outdoor experience.
