Career Services & Leadership Development (CSLD) office helps facilitate many opportunities between students and organizations, that promote and support one’s professional development beyond their undergraduate experiences. CSLD hosts career fairs, networking events, professional conferences, and provides platforms like Handshake to help connect students, alumni and faculty to leaders in various industries. Lastly CSLD, help students refine their professional development skills and offers advising on becoming a better candidate for the job market.
CSLD offers amazing resources; however, timing may be an issue for commuting students and CSLD's main source of communication is emailing when certain opportunities and events arise. This method of communication is often ignored by students, so if you want to inquire about their amazing opportunities, check your emails frequently. Many students do not engage with their office, so your chances of being granted a spot in their fellowship program is decent.
