Perley E. Jacobs
Perley Edward Jacobs, maintenance foreman at Stony Wold for over 40 years, died early today at Saranac Lake General Hospital. Mr. Jacobs was born July 22, 1899 in Saranac, a son of Edward and Lottie Greenwood Jacobs. For the last six years, he had made his home in Bloomingdale with his son, Thomas.
Other survivors are his wife, the former Teresa MacDonald; another son, Carl of Saranac Lake, two daughters, Joan Gavagan of Herkimer and Miss Patricia Jacobs of Los Angeles; and nine brothers and sisters.
Friends may call this evening from 8 to 10 o'clock and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 o'clock at Keough and Son Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p. m. Wednesday A Requiem Mass will be offered at 10 a. m. Thursday at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church in Bloomingdale.
