I am a co-founder of Wikisauga. I live in Mississauga and kind of fell into the whole wiki-ing world. I find its a much more productive use of my time when compared to playing video games all time :). We're still in our infancy so I try to add a little each day, anyone is welcome to contribute!

I was wondering if you could add a non wiki contact info (like an email address) to your Wiki Profile on the hub. I also uploaded an image (with credit) from this wiki to give a feel for Mississauga. I'd like to use it to add to the map of Mississauga at http://osm.org/go/ZX4io6q--, and need to know what kind of attribution you require. Do you need attribution on every map feature added, or is a mention on the project's wiki enough? —VictorBielawski

2010-09-01 09:08:03 I think an easy way to encourage people to participate would be to allow anonymous edits (preferably with a captcha). I'd wager that many people who would otherwise become active users are turned away by the requirement to register. (If anonymous edits are allowed, valuable editors should regularly be nudged toward creating accounts à la Wikipedia.) —VictorBielawski
