Overview
Freshii is an on-campus Elon dining option, which offers fresh, economic, and made-to-order food outside of the dining halls.
Freshii is one of the many places on Elon’s campus that prides itself in being nutritiously conscious. While many of the dining options offer a few healthy meals, everything on the Freshii menu is healthy and relatively low in calories. Freshii focuses on whole, natural, energizing foods that keep you going throughout your day. Their menu includes meals with fiber-rich, slow-burning carbs, essential fats, and lean proteins.

Freshii is based around the idea of customizable, healthy eating, and the menu reflects this style.

Sustainability
Freshii promotes responsible and sustainable business practices, by
- Everything taken from the store either biodegrades naturally to the earth or is easily recyclable.
- Shaking meals in a biodegradable bag means they produce 5 to 7 times less of a carbon footprint than running even the most energy efficient dishwasher.
- Most packaging is made from eco-friendly vegetable starches, like corn or potatoes. It biodegrades quickly, leaving behind only carbon dioxide, biomass, and water.
- As they grow, the stores are built smaller to use less materials, use more eco-friendly materials, consume less energy, and to take less from the Earth.
- They use only eco-friendly, natural, cleaning products.
Freshii not only provides healthy meals, they promote a healthy lifestyle. One of the ways in which they do this is through their philanthropy: Free The Children, which helps provide food for children in the developing world who do not have access to proper nutrition.
