About Kernodle Clinic

Kernodle Clinic is a "multi-specialty group practice with more than 50 medical providers in 15 areas of specialty". Located in Alamance County, there are three locations; Kernodle Clinic West, Easttown (also referred to as Kernodle Clinic Elon), and Mebane, all dedicated to serving the residents of the Burlington area in North Carolina.

History of Kernodle Clinic

Kernodle Clinic was formed in 1949 by three graduates of Duke University. The founding men were Dr. Harold B. Kernodle Sr., his brother Dr. Charles E. Kernodle, Jr., and their cousin Dr. John Robert Kernodle. The three men, two of them surgeons, and the last an obstetrician gynecologist, wanted to join their practices together for ease and better medical coverage, thus forming the first Kernodle Clinic.

Since then, Kernodle Clinic has created an affiliation with Duke Medicine, which came into effect on August 1, 2013. This affiliation allows the Kernodle Clinic to offer the most up-to-date and effective care for its patients.
