Description: Now more than 122 years old, the Arlington Heights Woman's Club is part of the General Federation of Woman's Club-Illinois and part of the nation's oldest nondenominational service organization of volunteers. It is also associated with the International ordganization. General meetings are held monthly from Oct. to May, along with monthly meetings of various study groups within the club, e.g., Literature and Drama, Great Decisions, Antiques & Collectibles, and Fine Arts. There are two bridge groups (ladies and couples), along with a major fund raiser -- a Spring Luncheon-Fashion Show. Proceeds go to our philanthropies which include scholarships to high school District 214 seniors, the Illinois Safety Alliance Burn Camp, Child Abuse Prevention and the Northern Illinois Youth Leadership Program. Residency in Arlington Heights is NOT a requirement for membership.
