Unfortunately, Chattanooga can be taco-challenged. There is an unfortunate abundance of less-than-stellar tacos in town. However, if you stick with this guide, you can find some of our choicer options.

• Taqueria Jalisco - their tacos are good (fresh corn tortillas) and cheap ($1.50) and use fresh ingredients. Vegetarian options available, and they take Square.
• Taconooga - Great tacos, fresh, hand made corn tortillas, with a wide variety of proteins. Guaca-Mex is a unique take on Guacamole that is excellent. Don't forget to ask for their Taco Sauce.
