The Columbus Watch Company was a business at 79 E. Thurman Avenue, in Columbus, Ohio. The company was established by Dietrich Gruen on December 22, 1874. In 1882 the company built a new factory on Thurman Avenue. In 1903, the company was sold and moved to South Bend, Indiana, becoming the South Bend Watch Company.
Portions of the factory buildings are still extant, including the western half of its main building; it is unclear if the entire building was completed as illustrated.
