What do you know about communitymatters/blog/archives/tv 79?

Darien TV79 is the town's government access television station, available on Cablevision only in Darien, but also streaming on the internet and with archived programming on its own Vimeo channel.

The station was founded in 2006 by volunteers David Dever (General Manager) and Jim Cameron (Program Director) who were appointed by the Board of Selectmen.  They answer to a Darien TV79 Advisory Board whose seven members are appointed by the Board of Selectmen.  The station also has operating guidelines which describe how the station should function.  An FAQ on the station's web page explains its operation.
