The Foresight Pre-Optometry Club is a pre-optometry club that encourages participants to become more active in the community by doing vision screenings, finding internships and volunteering. The pre-optometry club is sometimes offered trips to go to Panama/Costa Rica to help at clinics there. Additionally, it helps you interact with people that have the same interests as you and build connections that may be useful later on in life. Sometimes we can invite alumni to come back to our club and share their experiences of getting into optometry school. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the field of medicine that you wish to pursue.
