Lambda Theta Phi, Latin Fraternity, Inc. was established on December 1st, 1975. Beta Upsilon chapter was founded at the University of California, Davis on December 3, 2005 marking the 30 year anniversary of the fraternity. It is the first and largest Latino Fraternity in the nation. The UC Davis chapter Founding Brothers are Jose Mauricio Tapia, Conquistador #2, Jose Don Ordonez, and Luis Miguel Carranza, Jr. December 3, 2015 marked the 10 year anniversary for the Beta Upsilon Chapter, and our 4 FB's have grown to 52 strong, romping, stomping, Lambda Theta Phi Brothers. To every brother that has joined the ranks, "A Lambda..." A Lambda..."
