When I moved to Denton in 1994, I brought along the following:
- A shitload of music and instruments
- A bag of clothes
Two lawn chairs (the crappy premold plastic kind), a table, and a waterbed.

Lawn chairs are the ULTIMATE Denton apartment furnishing. Easy to clean, comfortable, and stylish. Spill a beer on them? No problem, just hose them off at that fancy car wash on eagle drive! Got clothes to hang up? No problems!
Break one? Fuck it, it was $2 well spent. Thank it for its service and move on.
I don't trust anyone with more furnishing than this--it means their priorities are horribly out of wack.
