Mr. Clifford A. Mitts owned the cigar stands at the Pantlind and Morten Hotels. He started the cigar retail business in theold Sweets Hotel, moving to the others later. Mr. Mitts was an acid sportsman and took a leading part in promoting the baseball and boxing sports in Grand Rapids.
