Dear Neil,

You wanted to know the date of my Father's and Mother's wedding. It was Jan. 1st 1890. It took place at Fort Covington, N.Y. I don't think I told you--but it might be of interest to know that Dad had a chance to attend school only one year in his whole life. But it wasn't his fault. When I told you that he had to haul logs, it was on those big heavy sleighs made for that purpose. You may have wondered why Mr. Huntington sold his camp to Mr. Trevor when he was so fond of it. The winters were so severe that he preferred to live either in South Carolina or Long Island where 2 of the duplicates were built. It was his friend Mr. Campbell that had the copy of the camp built on the island off the coast of Virginia. I shall always be grateful to you for taking such an interest in my father's career Hope I will live to see this in print next year.

Sincerely yours

Leah M. Meagher
