Incheon is divided into 8 districts (-gu) and 2 counties (-gun). Each district and county is divided into several divisions: towns (-eup), townships (-myeon), neighborhoods (-dong), or villages (-ri). You can read more about South Korean administrative divisions on Wikipedia.

Some highlights:

    • The area around Bupyeong Station is a popular nighttime hangout, full of restaurants, bars, and clubs.  Promoters will drive or walk through the lanes and scatter flyers around, or try to hand them to you. The ground is almost coated in flyers at the end of the night.

    • Northernmost edge of Incheon. Gyeyang Station is the northern terminus of Incheon Line 1, and connects to the Airport Line.

    • Many expats refer to the Guwol-dong area as "Arts Center".
    • The actual Arts Center is a large performance hall, right next to Arts Center Station. Exit 6 will bring you to the front of the Arts Center.
    • Guwol-dong Rodeo Drive 구월동 로데오거리 (also Rodeo Street, Rodeo Square, Arts Center Square) is a popular nighttime hangout. When you see a business listed as "Guwol-dong" in this wiki, it is probably somewhere near or around Rodeo Drive.

    • The northern half of Ganghwa-gun does not have high-definition maps on Daum Maps or Naver Maps, because of security concerns. After all, it is right next to the North Korean border. Google Maps, on the other hand, lets you zoom in.

    • Yeonpyeong-do and Soyeonpyeong-do do not have high-definition maps on Daum Maps or Naver Maps.
