Red Tail Farm is a farm located in Jacksonville NY. They sell raw honey and a variety of fruit, vegetables, and fresh cut flowers at the Ithaca Farmer's Market, and even GreenStar Cooperative Market. One unique thing this farm does is that they barely ever weed. Weeding can destroy local soil ecosystems. Cover crops allow them to do this. Planting cover crops helps suppress weeds and it also confuses and limits the performance of agricultural pests without harming the soil.
