T'ai Chi Ch'uan is an alternative medicine, therapy and martial art (see: Tai chi chuan). In Ithaca Tai Chi instruction can be found at:

  • Cornell Fitness Centers - every semester they teach a class on Tai Chi, focusing on the Yang Long Form (the most popular style of Tai Chi). Generally there is at least two classes each semester a beginner class and a more advanced class.
  • Ithaca College - offers a group class on Thai Chi open to students, faculty and staff
