What do you know about Users/roicito?

I grew up in Kitchener & Waterloo. Born in 1945, went to Victoria School, Courtland Avenue & Elizabeth Ziegler.

Lived at 83 Joseph Street across from the PUC Yards and behind the Victoria Park Baseball Field Fence.

Some forgotten places are, Anne's Variety & Lunch Bar on Moore Avenue, Palladium Restaurant, the Waterloo Trust Banks,

the Toy Departments upstairs at Goudies, & downstairs at Hymanns Hardware Store, the Mechanical Displays at Sole Brothers Jewellers

and the Confectioners beside the Capital & Lyric Theatres which sold fresh roasted nuts and home made hot potatoe chips. My bother Jackie & I

used to swim in the Mermaid Fountain in front of the LCBO on Charles Street. Does anyone remember Squirrely from the Victoria

Park Board who used to chase us kids for stepping in the flower beds. Or how about the fountains in Woodside Municipal Swimming Pool

where I learned to swim or the Grand River Railway Station on Queen Street where you could go on a trip to Port Dover on Sundays

on the Electric Trolley Trains? No one mentioned the cavalier Waitresses at the A&W on Bucks Hill, Waterloo who served you on roller skates while holding large

heavy glasses of Root Beer or did any of you go skinny dipping at the Four Wells? I did.
