Lot's of Lebanese and Middle Eastern culture - Melbourne's best falafel and hummus is at the Half Moon Cafe in the Coburg Mall. There are three shopping centres, two from the same stable. The epitome of fuck you capitalism. Thankfully, most Coburgites ignore them and shop local - great delis and fresh fruit and veg markets without needing the big chains. Not so hot if you need a noodle soup, but that's what Richmond is for anyway. A KLF Supermarket has opened recently filling the Asian grocery gap.

The Coburg pool is indoors, but is large and has a great kids area.
