Patrick H. Jones grew up in Redding and attended local schools including Shasta College as well as Sacramento State University. He is a local businessman serving as manager of the family business, Jones' Fort, for more than twenty years.
Patrick is actively involved in the community having served on various committees and proudly points to the fact that he has attended a majority of the Redding City Council meetings for the last five years.
He is the past President of the Redding Gun Club, and a Committee Member for the California Deer Association, Mule Deer Federation and the National Turkey Federation. He is also active in many local non profit organizations' fund- raising efforts for community projects.
Patrick demonstrated his determination and commitment to serve his community by running for the Redding City Council in 2002 and 2004 before winning election in 2006.
Liaison Assignments: In addition to his many duties as a City Council Member, Patrick also serves as the City Council liaison to the Fire Department and the Transportation and Engineering Department, the Airport Land Use Committee, the ["Superior California Development Committee"} and the Veterans' Home.
