Mid-Century Modern RI is a community dedicated to celebrating mid-20th century architecture in Rhode Island. In particular, the group seeks to expand appreciation of the Brutalist style of which the region offers many notable examples. To some extent, the organization sees itself as a counterbalance to a perceived obsession in Rhode Island with its colonial history.
