The South Attleboro MBTA station is located just over the Rhode Island border in nearby Massachusetts (Exit 2A off of I-95N). It offers one of the largest commuter parking lots in the area. It is possible to walk from the South Attleboro station to RIPTA service connections (Route 35) to reach other destinations in Rhode Island, but for various reasons, one must walk from the train station into Rhode Island territory via stairs/ramps, a bridge over the train tracks and sidewalks on surface streets to reach Cottage Street in Pawtucket. The walk is roughly 1/4 mile.

The cost for parking at this station ranges from $6 per day on the weekdays and $2 per day on the weekends. There is one way to pay for parking:

Download the Paybyphone app or pay directly on website and pay via credit/debit card. You need to reference the station number code in the search field, 4380, to select parking at the South Attleboro station.

Each parking space is numbered, but app the doesn't need this information so you can ignore it and park in any numbered space.

A small lot directly adjacent to the platforms usually fills early in the morning. A much larger space for commuter parking is located in numbered spaces in the shopping mall next to the train station. These spaces use the same payment system as the closer lot.
