New Venture is a relatively new church to the Midlothian area of Chesterfield with its birth on October 3, 2004. Here are a few identifying characteristics of NVCC. You will find these present on this website as well as in the gatherings and life of this new church. We are a fun church without a bunch of fluff. We believe that church is not something to dread or be bored with but an experience to be enjoyed. We are trying to put the fun back into fundamental. While at the same time we offer gatherings and a church experience that are an adventure of personal growth and spiritual development. We are relaxed while addressing real issues. You can expect an environment that is much more laid back than the typical church. We don't get into doing the same thing all the time in the same way. Change is guaranteed at New Venture. Yet we do not shy away from addressing real issues that pertain to the real life we all live. We are real people who deal with real needs in a relaxed atmosphere.

We are casual yet challenging. We are not "clothes" minded. We don’t have a dress code of formal attire that everyone is expected to wear. Sometimes I teach in casual slacks while other times I might wear blue jeans or even shorts and sandals. But don’t let the casual attire mislead you when it comes to the God life. We will assure you that you will always be challenged to take the next step in your personal spiritual journey with God.
